Meet Dr. Zand
Dr. Kaveh Zand is originally from California, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis. He later moved to Maryland to attend The Johns Hopkins University where he received his Masters degree in Biotechnology. Soon after, he completed his dental degree at the University of Maryland with honors and was accepted to the competitive General Practice Residency program at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. After completion of his training, Dr. Zand returned to the D.C. area to practice with a passion for preserving the natural dentition. He understands that root canal therapy can often be a stressful prospect for many patients, therefore he founded District Endodontics, with one very important goal in mind; To create a relaxing and non-threatening office environment with amenities and technology designed to make every patient experience pleasant. He strives to provide the highest standard of care while eliminating the negative stigma associated with root canals. As of 2020, Dr. Zand has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics, and holds active memberships with the American Dental Association, and the DC Dental Society.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines, playing tennis, learning golf, and spending time with his Golden Retriever Chloe’.
